After their first single, the Prague based DJ/producer duo Low Profile are about to release their debut album, Distance Awareness. The album consists of ten original tracks, two of which are supported by guest MCs from Brooklyn, NYC – Tah Phrum Duh Bush and Hired Gun.
It is these two tracks (Low Profile, Falling Skies) that are bound to be the most appreciated ones from the radio listener’s point of view, but Low Profile’s main focus lies in the field of experimental drum’n’bass / halftempo. That also holds true for the debut longplayer – dark atmospheres, halftime beats, dub sounds and massive sub-basses all thread throughout the album’s 59 minutes of playing time, all this supplemented by eastern melodies and vocal samples.
